A wonderful mountain vacation home located only 15 minutes drive from the town of Golden BC, set in the heart of the Blaeberry Valley nestled between the Rockies, Purcell & Selkirk Mountains. A great base from which to explore the stunning local area and nearby national parks of Yoho, Lake louise & Banff.

Bear Paw Lodge is a fully equipped self catering vacation property, furnished to a very high standard, which can comfortably sleep 10 people.

This vacation property near Golden BC has recently been extensively renovated with hard wood floors, newly refurbished kitchen with stainless steel appliances and new décor. The living room is comfortably furnished boasting great mountain views, and all bedrooms are newly furnished with comfortable beds, linens and duvets. Other features include Sat TV & DVDs in most rooms, dial-up internet connection, large outdoor deck with patio furniture, 6 person hot tub and a large garden.

With almost 360º views of the surrounding mountains, Bear Paw Lodge offers incredible tranquillity and the unique feeling of living close to nature in the heart mountains, with the added bonus of being no more than 20 minutes away from some of the best Winter and Summer activity facilities that Canada has to offer. Therefore Bear Paw Lodge offers an ideal base for a wide range of activities including Skiing at Kicking Horse Ski Resort, vast Snowmobling & ATV terrain including local guided tours, Back Country skiing, Helli-Skiing, Hiking And Mountain Biking.

For those who prefer to spend their vacation at a more gentle pace, Bear Paw Lodge is the ideal location away from any commercialism, with an abundace of wildlife often wandering through the 6 acre grounds and the vast surrounding terrain. A superb base for walking and exploring in the mountains, visiting the Northern Lights Wolf Centre (only 2 minutes away), sharing an ale or two with the freindly locals at The Moberly Pub (only 5 minutes drive) or lounging at the end of the day in our 6 person hot-tub looking up at the stars whilst soaking those aching limbs.

A house keeper who lives at the property within a self contained basement unit, will greet you on arrival, and will be happy to help with any queries during your stay. Fresh bathroom towels will be provided twice per week and bed linen changed once per week. Full washing and drying facilities are provided for our guests to use.

Golden is approximately a 3 hour drive from Calgary, 55mins Lake Louise, 30mins Yoho National park and under 2 hours from Banff heading west on the trans-Canada Hwy 1.
